About Simran
I am currently a third year medical student with previous teaching and volunteering experience in sixth form and university. Alongside other tutors, I have helped several children aged 5-16 in English, Maths and 11+ topics at a local tutoring centre. Furthermore, I have developed my communication skills with children as the secretary of a university hospital volunteering organisation.

The main thing I have picked up from my experience is that every child learns differently- there is no correct way of learning and teaching. Therefore, I adapt to the child's needs and preferences and I utilise learning techniques and methods best suited to the child. Above all, I am friendly and approachable, which undoubtedly has a significant impact on the child's learning.
