About Emily
My name is Emily and I am enthusiastic about learning! I am currently a medical student who also have a degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology. I have been a tutor for nearly 6 years and, during that time, have met many people of all ages and backgrounds who I have worked with to help them reach their goals.
I had tuition myself during my time in Sixth form and have seen, first hand, how much of an improvement extra support can make to learner's understanding. I have the experience to adapt my tuition to match each tutee's individual learner style.

I have been a tutor for nearly 6 years, and during this time I have worked with many different children with different ability levels. This experience has showed me how unique each learner can be; individual strengths and areas for development.
Since every learner is different, I believe their tuition should be too! Sometimes schools cannot provide the level of specific support needed in certain areas to further a learner's understanding and that's where tuition can help!
I understand and feel confident in tailoring my teaching style to be as individualised and specific as possible to each tutee. I pride myself on being a friendly face who is also very patient and understanding.
My lessons typically last for an hour and I am happy to adapt the sessions to provide the best support for the learner. This includes a mix of explanations and exam style questions; meaning that my tutees can develop their understanding whilst applying their newly expanded knowledge!
