About Tom
Hi, my name is Tomas. I am a 2nd year student studying medicine at the University of Oxford. I have substantial experience tutoring biology, chemistry and maths with Study Support in London during my holidays and thus feel confident explaining the toughest concepts in these subjects. I myself needed tutoring in these subjects during my secondary education and now I want to provide the understanding I gained to others who need help as I did.

I am currently a 2nd year medical student at the University of Oxford and have extensive experience in teaching biology, chemistry and maths at GCSE level and Biology and Chemistry at A-level working at Study Support, London during breaks. I achieved a 9 in biology and maths at GCSE and an 8 in chemistry as well as an A* in A-level biology and an A in A-level chemistry. My lessons are usually between 1 and 2 hours long during which I work through examples of the toughest exam questions with students showing them step by step how to construct the perfect answer and then letting them have a go at similar questions as I firmly believe there is no substitute for practise. I also leave time for students to ask any questions about individual concepts which may not make sense to them and I provide easy to understand explanations and examples of how these may come up in an exam.

Having seen the progress Tom has made with my brother, I believe that he is a fantastic tutor!
