About Eve
I would consider myself a people person and I understand, from my own experience, the benefits a friendly and knowledgable tutor can bring. When I was in school, I lacked confidence in my own ability and struggled with learning in big classroom settings. Tutoring helped me to develop my learning style and allowed me to excel. As a tutor now myself, I love being able to give students the support I found invaluable.
I love tutoring and seeing my students gain confidence and progress. For me, there is no better feeling than working with my students to reach their potential whilst enjoying the process.

Hello, my name is Evie and I am a final year medical student. When I am not studying, I enjoy going to the gym, walks outside and spending time with my friends, family and, of course, my two dogs and cat, Olive, Bertie and Maya!
My lessons will consist of understandable and thorough explanations of the topic which you wish to cover, opportunities to ask for clarification about anything you don’t understand and, finally, exam style question practice. This structure will help you to consolidate your knowledge and learn how to apply it so that you can perform your best in tests or exams. I will also refer back to the specification for your specific exam board so that we cover everything you need to know but without going into too much unnecessary detail- I don’t want to overcomplicate things for you!
Please know that no question is ‘silly’ or ‘stupid’- I encourage you to ask as many questions as you like as this will help you to understand the ‘bigger picture’. My aim is for you to leave my lessons feeling confident and happy about what we have covered.
At the start of each subsequent lesson, we will quickly recap what we covered previously. This active recall will aid long term memory of the topic information so that you can recall it more easily later on (in exams, for example) . It will also provide an opportunity to identify any areas that you are a bit stuck on so that we can go over them again until you are confident and happy!
I have over 750 hours of tutoring experience and am dedicated to each and every student. My goal is to help you achieve your potential whilst enjoying the process!
