About Charlie
Hello! My name is Charlie and I am currently a first year student studying Medicine at the University of Manchester. I love teaching, sharing knowledge, and helping others to reach their full potential, which is why I work as a tutor. I received 10 GCSEs at Grade 9 and 3 A*s at A Level (I did Chemistry for both!) so would love to use my expertise to teach you.

My lessons typically consist of an hour and are based around a curriculum decided between me and the pupil which focuses on the areas they find most difficult. I work through the concepts alongside my pupil to ensure they fully understand, and then dedicate time to applying knowledge learned to exam questions, with a particular focus on exam techniques. Furthermore, I also like to keep sessions engaging, so use a variety of tasks and methods to help consolidate learning where appropriate. I teach GCSE Biology and Chemistry for OCR/AQA and A Level AQA Biology and Chemistry.
My price also includes access to a bank of Chemistry resources curated specifically for my students!
My previous experience includes working as a volunteer GCSE OCR Maths tutor, in addition to working with children as a reading mentor for visually impaired pupils and gymnastics coach.
