About Sruti
I am a medical student going into my fourth year at Imperial College London. I have been tutoring for over five years, and have really enjoyed helping students fulfil their potential and achieve great grades in their GCSEs and A-level/IB examinations. I have achieved all 9s in my subjects at GCSE, and did the IB diploma, achieving the maximum score of 45 points with 7s in HL Biology, Chemistry and Maths Analysis (all A* equivalent). I love teaching and am passionate about medicine and the sciences and I aim to help students both understand and enjoy learning these subjects, allowing them to apply their knowledge and understanding throughout my lessons. As a student myself who started university in 2022, I have personal insight into the GCSE and IB/A-level process and am able to understand how each student learns best, providing them with a personalised teaching experience.

I have 5.5 years’ experience teaching Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths and possess exceptional academic records, scoring grade 9 in all of these throughout GCSE and maximum grades in Higher Level Biology, Chemistry and Maths in IB. I am able to teach students in KS3 level sciences and Maths, A-level/IB Biology and Chemistry, and Maths and GCSE-level Physics. In the past, I have taught students mainly ranging from the ages of 12-17. I mainly do lessons online but can do in-person lessons, subject to location. Each student has different needs and ways they are best taught. Knowing this, I teach 1-to-1 with PowerPoints containing lesson content, as well as worked examples and plenty of opportunity for the student to practise applying their learning (via practice questions, mostly) and ask questions throughout. I offer remote sessions ranging from 1-2 hours and I am more than happy to do a free introductory call to get to know the student and how I can best help them! Thank you!
