About Saakithyan
Hi! I'm Saaki, a 5th year medical student at Queens' College, Cambridge. Having achieved 3230 Band 1 in the UCAT, 5 A*s at A-Level (Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Physics, and EPQ), and 13 A*s at GCSE (current 8/9 equivalent), I have a very strong academic background that allows me to tutor across all aspects of the Medicine application process, including A-Level subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Physics, EPQ), UCAT Preparation, Personal Statement Writing, Interview Preparation, and Academic Writing.
I am very passionate about teaching (which I hope is obvious since I’ve been doing this for over 5 years!) and I love seeing my students thrive and grow from lesson to lesson. My focus is on clear, supportive explanations and adapting lessons so every student feels understood and able to succeed. My experience is wide-reaching, having taught students internationally and also those with Special Educational Needs, so can ensure a truly tailored approach. I have a proven track record of getting students, both from the UK and internationally, into medical school as well as achieving the top grades at A-Level. Lessons cost £60/hr, are 1 hour in duration, and are held via Zoom. The scheduling of lessons is entirely flexible thanks to remote learning so are offered on days and times that suit you.

I’ve had tutoring sessions with him for both GCSE and A Level and I can confidently say he’s one of the best tutors out there.
