One of my main ideologies about teaching is that the student will learn much better if they enjoy the subject. By explaining subjects with a step-by-step approach that makes it simple for students to understand, I ensure students feel confident to ask questions if unsure and feel like the subject being taught is familiar. Often students find concepts difficult when they believe the content is unfamiliar and alien, causing them to feel lost and turning them away from learning the content altogether. My method of teaching aims to ensure students feel as comfortable and familiar as possible in order to avoid the feeling of frustration that can come with not understanding concepts when being expected to understand them.
