About Becky
I'm a mechanical engineering student at Bristol uni, and I genuinely love maths and physics, and love helping make it "click" for people who haven't had someone explain it in a way they understand yet.
Having recently been in the exact same position, I understand how people feel trying to cope with a huge amount of content, and want to help people with hard topics and give them the tools to manage the rest of the course.
I've been at boarding school since I was 11, and have spent lots of time helping juniors in house with their homework, revising for tests, and managing the workload. This has taught me lots of different strategies to explain things to younger students, and how to make concepts understandable and memorable.
I have various responsibilities at school, such as prefect, Head of Army in CCF and a peer mentor, so I'm very organised, responsive and committed!

I personally think the best way to learn maths/physics is by working through practice questions and talking through answers, methods and concepts with someone else, so my lessons incorporate this as much as possible. When studying for my GCSEs, I often found the hardest part was understanding markschemes to see where I went wrong, and wished I had someone to explain it more to me, so that's my style of teaching!
All you have to do is let me know which topics need covering and I will find different levels of questions to work through. I also encourage independent learning and can recommend all the (free ) websites and strategies I used to help me if you don't know where to start! Lessons can be from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the need, all ages are welcome!
