About Lucie
Having tutored 1 on 1 for over 2 years, I have learnt how to adapt my teacher style dependent on each students individual needs. I provide constant verbal feedback to mentees and keep written records of academic performance of each student to address areas of improvements. Depending on the needs of the student, I can provide homework if the parents/guardians of the student deem it necessary.
As a tutor, my main goal is to make my students feel comfortable, so that they feel like they can ask any question at any time. I have worked with students with a range of abilities and I hope to not only educate, but inspire.
I have obtained an average of a 1st in my degree so far and I achieved straight As and A*s at A-Level (including Maths and Further Maths) and the equivalent of straight A*s at GCSE.
