About Sushitha
I’m a professional engineer working in renewable energy, with a BEng in Electronics & Communication Engineering and an MSc in Sustainable Energy Systems. I use maths regularly in my work, but that doesn’t mean I do everything in my head. I still reach for a calculator for simple things sometimes! To me, being good at maths is about understanding why something works, not being perfect at it.

I believe that spending time getting the fundamentals right makes more advanced topics much easier to understand and importantly, means that what you learn stays with you for much longer.
A big part of solving maths problems is also learning how to interpret the question correctly. Rather than simply teaching you how to answer one particular type of question, my aim is to help you develop a way of thinking that you can apply to unfamiliar problems as well.
