Mr Malope taught me a maths module in university, and I was lucky to be a part of his co-hort. I got to meet Pontso in 2018 when he was employed by the Mpumalanga Department of Education as an LSA (learner support agent). He attained great results in Matric, scooping 2 distinctions in mathematics and physical sciences. He was employed to assist grade 12 learners with mathematics. As a dedicated and self-motivated person, he was not afraid to go the extra mile. He assisted with physical sciences, life sciences and English during his spare time. I saw a vast improvement in the learners results in all the mentioned subjects.
