I take a positive and encouraging tutoring approach to help learners build up their confidence. I adapt my approach to the needs of the student but a typical lesson would be first going through any work the student is currently doing and needs help on and then continuing with a structured course. The focus will shift to working through past papers coming up to examinations.

I haven’t found maths an easy subject, however since I have had Robert as a tutor have found I am finding the subject much more accessible. Robert gives clear, easy to understand instructions, has supported and guided me throughout as I have prepared for forthcoming exams. Very professional and extremely supportive.
Rob is a very thoughtful and considerate tutor. He is always on time for meetings, goes out of his way to be accommodating and is very encouraging. I highly recommend him as a maths tutor.
