About Claudine
I am a Mathematics and Physical Science teacher and student . I have a Masters degree in Mathematics Education and have been teaching for 35 years. I have taught at all levels from Grade 1 to Second year University including N and T courses. I have also written 9 Mathematics text books. Recently I have been ill and find myself in a position where I need to use my voice less so smaller classes.

My teaching method is to assess what the learner knows and understands and use that as a foundation to move to what he or she does not know or needs to know. My way involves lots of practice, repetition and hard work but is generally successful. If Examinations are involved or tests we do all the past papers I can find or make up.

Perfect! Claudine is an fantastic teacher — kind but firm, with the perfect balance of encouragement and structure that enables a 10-year-old to thrive and prepare confidently for an important entrance exam. What truly sets her apart is her decades of teaching experience and deep understanding of how children learn best, standing in contrast to the growing trend of student tutors who rely heavily on AI to teach.
