About Faiz
My name is Faiz and I live in the South Birmingham area. I am providing online/face-to-face GCSE Maths+Physics, A-level Maths+Further maths, and 11+ one-to-one tuition. I currently study BSc Mathematics, Statistics and Economics at a top Russell Group university. I recently completed my A-levels, achieving A*A in Maths and Further Maths respectively. I also achieved all 8-9's in my GCSE, with a 9 in both Maths and Physics. I got 248 in the 11+ exam, attending a top Birmingham grammar school. My recent academic achievement puts me in a position to understand how current exams work, how papers are marked, and how the curriculum is taught. I use this to give students a direct approach, while also building relationships with students. I have 2+ years of tutoring experience, both privately and at a professional centre. This has given me the skills to deal with students of all abilities and personalities. I also understand what methods to use to best prepare students for exams. Mathematics and Further Mathematics tutoring for GCSE and A-LEVEL. Physics GCSE, as well as 11+ exam tutoring also available. PRICES: £20 / hr (GCSE), £30 / hr (A-Level and 11+) I provide engaging and detailed lessons, giving students an approach that is well-rounded to maximise their chance of exam success. I teach mathematical concepts in depth; as well as focus heavily on exam practice, prioritising learning from mistakes. I do this by creating tailored papers which tackle students' weaknesses. Lessons are 1 or 2 hours, the latter of which includes a short break to keep students focused. Lessons are provided online or in-person (South Birmingham).
