About Camila
Mathematics tutor with 6 years of experience teaching college and engineering students. Have taught around 220 students, helping many excel in vector and 3D geometry courses. My teaching approach for Mathematics is focused on connecting geometry and vectors to real-world applications in physics and engineering. I cover 3D geometry in detail, including coordinates in 3D, distance formula, section formula, direction cosines, and direction ratios. I teach equations of lines and planes in various forms, including vector and Cartesian forms, and solve problems involving intersections, angles, and distances. I cover vector algebra, including addition, scalar multiplication, dot product, cross product, and scalar triple product, with applications like work done, torque, area of triangles, and volume of parallelepipeds. I use visual diagrams and physical examples like forces, velocities, and fields to make these concepts tangible. I provide step-by-step derivations and plenty of practice problems. I assign homework that includes both theoretical questions and numerical problems. I conduct weekly quizzes to assess understanding and retention. I also provide tips for solving problems efficiently. I maintain a progress log and revisit weak topics systematically. My goal is to help you apply vector and 3D geometry concepts confidently in your field of study.
