About Patrick
I am an engineer at a local tire manufacturing plant who aspires to become a high school math teacher someday. I simply enjoy teaching, and enjoy math.
I was a math tutor in college (Alfred University), and I have been helping friends/family with math homework/studying/tests since I discovered my raw talent for the subject.
I recently worked at Huntington Learning Center, where I did the following:

My teaching approach is to get the student involved as much as possible.
I don't believe in lecturing, I think learning is best done in the format of a conversation.
I do my best to push the student in the right direction of the answer, instead of just telling them the answer.
I think the most effective way of learning is by getting your hands dirty, so get ready for lots of examples!
