About Ron
Math has always been my favorite subject and I enjoy sharing my passion for it with my students. I believe that being patient and approachable is the key to being a great tutor. I have more than 10 years of math tutoring experience (including classroom experience). On a side note, when I'm not tutoring or working I can be found playing handball, which I have passionately pursued for over 20 years and plan to keep doing it with every chance I get!

Math doesn't have to be hard! Mathematics at its core is about breaking up complex puzzles into smaller pieces and then putting the pieces back together in a more understandable way. I believe in building a strong foundation before moving onto complex topics. Memorizing mathematical formulas doesn't get students very far. I help students get a deeper understanding of math which helps them grasp new concepts faster. My students have been able to speak math after a couple of tutoring sessions with me! I tutor concepts from all levels of mathematics including Elementary, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics, SHSAT, SAT, ACT, GED, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus! I tutor in-person and online (with a webcam and live-streaming/screen-sharing tablet). I also speak Spanish. (¡Yo también hablo español!) I hope to hear from you soon!
