About Diana
I have been tutoring for a few years. I have never officially done it, but usually in small groups of my peers.
I've tutored about 5 different people, all with different personalities and different ways of learning. I also have a special needs child who requires much different techniques of learning, so my experiences are well rounded.
Two of the students I have tutored have gone on to pass such classes as real analysis. That is, theoretical, or proof based calculus.

Graduating with a bachelor of science in pure mathematics in approximately 5 weeks. I'd like to teach full time when I graduate, and do tutoring on the side. I am considering getting my master's degree in education in the future.
Currently I tutor fellow classmates in various subjects. We work out problems together and I try to explain things to them so they understand.
In the past, I have taken education classes and created lessons involving hands on methods, such as games and food (chocolate bars are great for fractions!)
I'm rather patient. No question is dumb. If you don't understand something, you should ask. Don't fester and get further behind because you don't understand.
