About Jania
Currently, I am about to go into my fifth year in Concurrent Education (p/j) at Queen's University. I have experience from placements in traditional and non-traditional schools. In the past three summers, I've worked at a summer school teaching for Grades 1-7 and have experience tutoring one-on-one for Grade 7-8.

In my Math lessons, I try to tailor to each student's needs and learning styles. I see where students need extra support and adjust lessons accordingly. I start lessons with worksheets to understand where each student is at. From there, I create lessons on strengthening what the student already has and what they need more support in. I believe that many students benefit from having one-on-one support that may not be possible in a classroom setting. My goal is to give the student individual attention, working at their own pace, and strengthening skills that need to be worked on.
