About Roxianne
I am a teacher/tutor of mathematics for 16+ years now in the state of Georgia. I am certified grades 6-12 in teaching mathematics including gifted and special education. I have taught and tutored college math as well. I currently work for FSCJ in Jacksonville FL as I just moved to that area. I left the public sector to do my own thing and with less stress hopefully:) I love teaching...and especially teaching math...I most enjoy that look on my students faces when they realize they too can learn math:)

A lot of students struggle with math. Just getting them over that hump to battle their demons is the most important goal. Showing students that they too can learn math is essential for success. I failed math as a young girl and was never interested in the subject; however, my 9th grade year of high school, I had that teacher that just explained it in such a way that I got it!! I became very interested the moment I realized I too could do the math and went on to study math in college as well and now have 2 degrees in teaching math. Success and interest is key!!
