About Jake
I’m a math and data science tutor with a strong theoretical background and real-world experience as a financial engineer at BlackRock. I’ve studied mathematics consistently throughout my academic career and enjoy digging into how and why things work, not just memorizing formulas. I’m especially good at breaking down complex topics into clear, intuitive explanations and adjusting my approach to match each student’s background and goals. Whether you’re building fundamentals, preparing for exams, or tackling advanced material, my focus is on helping you develop real understanding, confidence, and problem-solving skills that last beyond a single class.
