Learn with Confidence
With around 3 years of tutoring experience in Statistics, Accounting and Finance, I help students understand challenging topics in a clear, simple and practical way.
My teaching is focused on understanding rather than memorizing. I break complex concepts into manageable steps, use practical examples, and work through questions with students until they feel confident solving problems independently.
I take the time to understand each student's learning style, current level and goals, and I adapt my lessons accordingly. Whether you are struggling with the basics, preparing for an exam, or looking to strengthen your existing knowledge, I provide patient and structured support at your own pace.
My academic background in Business Studies and Management, combined with professional experience in finance and accounting, allows me to bring both academic knowledge and practical perspective to my lessons.

I believe students learn best when concepts are explained clearly, connected to practical examples, and then reinforced through guided practice. My approach is to first understand the student's current level, learning goals, and areas of difficulty. I then tailor each lesson to their needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.
For Statistics, I focus on building a strong understanding of the concepts before moving into calculations. I explain the reasoning behind formulas and methods, demonstrate worked examples step by step, and then guide students through practice questions. I also help students understand how to interpret statistical results, which is often just as important as getting the calculation right.
My teaching techniques include:
* Clear, step-by-step explanations of difficult concepts
* Practical and real-world examples
* Worked examples followed by guided practice
* Question-solving strategies for tests and examinations
* Identifying and correcting gaps in understanding
* Adapting the pace and difficulty to each student's needs

A typical lesson is 60 minutes, although I can adapt the lesson length depending on the student's needs, level, and learning objectives. For students preparing for examinations or working through more complex topics, longer sessions can also be arranged.
My Experience
I have around 3 years of tutoring experience, with a particular focus on Statistics, Accounting, and Finance. My academic and professional background also gives me practical knowledge of financial concepts, numerical analysis, reporting, and problem-solving.
My goal is not simply to help students complete questions, but to help them understand why a particular method is used and develop the confidence to apply it independently.
