About the lesson

As a very recent graduate myself, I am only too aware of our proclivities to focus on what we already know!

This is why, from the very onset, I aim to grasp a student's strengths and weaknesses, and address the gaps in knowledge from there on out. A typical lessons consist of going through topics students identify they wish to learn/brush up on, but they are interspersed with pop quizzes to make sure they're not falling into the trap above!

Motivation is another big determinant of success, and whilst I expect students to be mature and take ownership of their responsibilities, I find reminding students of the bigger picture, or easing off the pressure yields very good results!
