About Samantha
I received my Masters in Public Health in 2003 from the University of South Florida College of Public Health. My concentration was Maternal and Child Health and while there, I was a graduate assistant and research assistant on several large projects. I received my Bachelor of Science in 1998 from Appalachian State University. My degree is in Health Promotion with a minor in Foods and Nutrition. Teaching and mentoring are my two favorite ways to put my educational and professional experience together to help educate today’s students.

I provide a practical, real-world, application of health, health sciences, public health, maternal and child health and enjoy helping reframe theories and concepts, so students can understand them better. My professional and educational experience provide me with a unique opportunity to provide educational material in a relatable format.
