About Eliana
I'm an English teacher from Argentina. I have a Master's degree in teaching English as a foreign language and I’m currently doing my PhD in Applied Linguistics. I have been working as a teacher for 10 years. I’ve taught English at elementary school, middle school, high school, and university and I’ve also worked as a private tutor. I currently specialize in academic writing, but I also teach general English, conversation and exam-preparation courses. In general English classes, my teaching method follows the communicative approach, without neglecting traditional methods if the student prefers or needs them. I like to work with authentic material, creating opportunities to use the language naturally. In exam preparation courses or conversation courses, my methodology is adapted to cater for the needs and interests of the student.
