About Laiba
Hi! I'm Laiba Shaikh, a Master of Professional Engineering student at Monash University, Melbourne. I hold a First-Class Honors degree in Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering and have a strong foundation in physics, math, and problem-solving. I've taught Chemistry to high school students at MBB Secondary School and mentored junior peers throughout school in various subjects such as computer science, math, physics, and chemistry. I enjoy teaching because I find it incredibly rewarding to help students build confidence and truly understand what they're learning. I believe I have a knack for breaking down complex concepts into simple, relatable explanations, often using analogies to make ideas click. My goal is to create a positive, supportive environment where students feel comfortable, motivated, and empowered to succeed.

1. I make presentations with visuals, and easy to understand examples. I encourage students to ask questions, and ensure everyone understands what is being taught.
2. 1 hour sessions
3. I taught Chemistry to 9th Graders for around 8 months remotely, and I have done tutoring/mentoring sessions for around 2 years throughout school.
4. My lessons will be for HSE level students.
