About Leonardo
I'm heading to the University of Southampton this year to study Maritime Engineering, having achieved A-levels in Maths, Physics, and English, and I'm passionate about helping students build confidence in the subjects that got me here, especially Maths and Physics at GCSE and A-level, where a solid grasp of the fundamentals makes all the difference not just for exams, but for university education and of course career success.

As a student currently studying maritime engineering at the University of Southampton, I know first-hand how to succeed in the subjects I teach. I don't want my students leaving my lessons having just memorised banal terminology and seemingly incomprehensible formulae, and neither should you. Instead, I aim to build a strong foundation of knowledge and understanding for GCSE and onwards. I believe in fostering curiosity and passion for the subjects I teach, and that means prioritising understanding, not just mindless memorisation.
I tailor each session to the student's level and learning style, I'm patient, encouraging, and am genuinely invested in seeing my students achieve their goals. Whether it's exam prep, homework support, or building stronger foundations, I'm excited to help students get the results they're aiming for.
