About Haydee
I am a High School 9th grader who has been doing mathematics since the young age of 6. I have worked my way up to VCE Mathematics and teach many of my peers concepts.
I am Korean (although I do not speak lots of it).
I also am studying VCE science and have very strong skills in English writing (persuasive + creative) along with English rules and languages.

My teaching method is to explain and reason, not remember. So many students struggle in math due to not understanding why math exists in the first place as many 'real life' scenarios are not related to students. I want to help other students find joy in math the same way I did.
I love teaching and helping others in order to become better. I like to teach students the same way I was taught, but I am incredibly flexible and am able to shift my way of thinking if it will benefit the student. I want to teach students not only what math is and how we figure equations out, but why we even figure these equations out in the first place and how they benefit us in the long run, from running businesses to STEM related careers.
