About Zaid
I’m a friendly, patient and approachable tutor who genuinely enjoys helping others learn. I have a strong academic background in Mathematics, Computing and Data Science, and I’m currently studying an MSc in Data Science at LSE. I understand that every student learns differently, so I aim to create a comfortable environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes and build confidence without feeling pressured. I’m particularly passionate about helping students overcome topics they find difficult and seeing them make progress over time. Whether you need help preparing for an exam, understanding a challenging topic or simply becoming more confident with Maths, Statistics or Computing, I’ll always aim to make lessons clear, engaging and tailored to your individual needs.

I believe the best way to learn is to understand the “why”, rather than simply memorising formulae or solutions. I use clear, step-by-step explanations, worked examples and practice questions, adapting my approach to each student’s level and learning style. I have experience helping siblings, cousins and friends with Mathematics, Statistics and Computing, particularly by breaking difficult topics into simpler concepts. I am currently studying an MSc in Data Science at LSE and previously completed a BSc in Mathematics & Computing with a CGPA of 9.15/10. Lessons are typically 60 minutes, but I am happy to adapt the length depending on the student’s needs. I can support students from school level through to university-level Mathematics, Statistics, Algebra, Algorithms and Computing, and my aim is always to build both understanding and confidence.
