About Esme
Hello! My name is Esme, I am an English tutor from London. I have always been passionate about literature and languages, which is why I decided to study Comparative Literature at King's College London. During this time, I also completed a study abroad at the Sorbonne IV. I graduated from King's College London with first class honours in 2022.
Following my degree, I decided to move to France to teach English. I have worked with high schoolers and university students, so I have experience working with a range of abilities.

I am an experienced tutor committed to supporting GCSE and A Level English and French. Our main activity will focus around a piece of material, such as an excerpt from a book or article, a listening activity, or a grammar-related exercise. Upon meeting, I will ask you what skills you are looking to develop, what your timeframe is, and will select and create resources suited for this development. If looking for GCSE or A Level support, this material will be adapted from mock exams, past papers and mark schemes in order to fully prepare you.
Who are my lessons for: students at high school, college or university, as well as anyone looking to develop their English or French skills. I have been a student at both English and French universities (King's College London and Sorbonne IV), so I have a good knowledge of these systems.
