About Jonathan
I am a dedicated and hardworking student currently studying A Level Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Economics. I have a strong academic background in Maths and Science and enjoy helping others understand these subjects in a clearer and more confident way.
I understand that these subjects can sometimes feel difficult or overwhelming, so I focus on explaining topics in a simple, step-by-step way that makes them easier to understand. My aim is to help students not just memorise methods, but actually understand the logic behind them so they can apply their knowledge in exams.
I am patient, approachable, and supportive in my teaching style, and I always encourage students to ask questions without hesitation. I adapt my explanations depending on how each student learns best, whether they need extra practice, slower explanations, or exam technique support.
My goal is to help students improve their confidence, raise their grades, and feel more prepared for exams in a calm and structured way.

I focus on making Maths and Science easy to understand by breaking problems down into simple, step-by-step explanations. My teaching approach is patient and structured, helping students build confidence before moving on to more difficult topics. I adapt each lesson to the student’s level and target areas they struggle with most, whether that is exam technique, core understanding, or problem-solving skills.
Lessons typically last 1 hour, which allows enough time to explain concepts clearly, practise exam-style questions, and review any mistakes together. I aim to keep sessions focused but relaxed so students feel comfortable asking questions.
I am currently studying A Level Maths, Further Maths, and Physics, so I have a strong and up-to-date understanding of the GCSE curriculum. This helps me explain topics in a way that is easy to relate to and understand.
My lessons are mainly for KS3 and GCSE students (ages 11–16), especially those who want to improve their grades, build confidence, or prepare for exams.
