About Geethaartha
I am an A-Level student at Tiffin Grammar School who is currently studying Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics. I am quite familiar with the new, tougher, GCSE courses and know what is required of a student to be successful in the exams. Having acheived a Grade 9 in Maths and the sciences, (which translates to above an A* in the old system), I have the subject knowledge needed to lead your child to success.
I currently work as a tutor at a centre in Kingston, working with children of all ages. I know how to communicate information effectively, and understand the different ways that children learn and therefore will be able to tailor my lessons to your child.

I prefer to take a student-centric approach to teaching. I generally begin my lessons by going over whatever the child has bein doing in lessons at the time - helping them to refine their skills and improve their exam technique, or what they feel they need most help on - helping to fill gaps in their knowledge. A typical lesson will consist of teaching and plenty of guided question practice, thoroughly explaining any concepts that the student stuggles to grasp. I encourage students to take notes on the examples that we work through together and collate these in a folder for future reference. Students will be provided with questions that they can do, and I will mark these before the next lesson where I will give targeted advice on how they can improve.
Throughout the process, I will keep you, the parent, in the loop with your child's progress, and give you advice on how you can support them with their education.
