About Ruth
I have taught swimming for 4 years now and am looking to apply this skill to academic tutoring in the subjects that I love and study myself. As a swim teacher I have to lead and plan lessons to my individual students and their needs and ability and believe this is one of my strengths that I am hoping to bring to academic tutoring.

Friendly and personal teaching, focusing on your individual weaknesses. Using a teaching style to suit your needs: either creative and unconventional to help those who struggle with classroom learning and need things explaining in an alternative way; or traditional question and answer or book learning for those that need to recap topics that have been missed in lesson.
I have just finished taking my A-levels in maths, biology and chemistry and hope to start medical school in September. I enjoy teaching because I enjoy learning and I enjoy sharing the experience of learning with others and find it very rewarding to play a part in helping others to achieve their potential.
