I am an A-level student studying computer science, business, and art, with a strong interest in software development. I enjoy helping others and am committed to supporting younger students, particularly those preparing for their GCSEs. Having recently completed my own exams, I can offer practical advice and encouragement to help them succeed.

Each lesson is 1 hour long, one-to-one or in groups, and structured into two segments. After the first 30 minutes, there is a 5-10 minute break to help students absorb the initial material before continuing. I divide each topic into two sections, adjusting the depth based on its complexity. To make the sessions engaging, I incorporate interactive activities such as quiz games where students can compete and test their understanding in a fun way. I also engage students in discussions by asking them real-life problem-solving questions related to the material. Additionally, I use PowerPoint and videos to introduce the topics. It is crucial to interact with the students to understand where the main issues are, ensuring each lesson is not only informative but also memorable and enjoyable. This approach helps in keeping teenagers interested and involved throughout the session. I will also provide revision resources and past papers for students to work on.
In year 12, I worked with TeamUp(teamup.org.uk) to tutor year 8 for 6 weeks in creative writing, I have also volunteered during Year 6 trial days in secondary school, assisting students around the school and supporting them with questions that they have. I’m very patient and I'm resilient, trying different methods of teaching if one doesn't work. I aim to make the sessions specific to the person or group of people. My tutoring sessions are intended for GCSE Computer Science.
