I am a person who really likes maths and computer science. And throughout my education, I've noticed students not understanding something and the teacher ignoring it. Either due to not having the time to cater to one student, or the student hides it, but I still notice.
This has always bothered me and I believe that understanding topics in maths to the degree that is intended is important. Some of those times, I do end up approaching those classmates and helping them out and that feels incredibly rewarding giving someone that kind of permanent understanding of a certain concept and that is why I want to become a tutor.
The added bonus is the stress. I know what it feels like to walk out a maths class and not really know what was going on. I want to help prevent that.
The bigger bonus for students is. When you understand something it's much easier to revise it, when you learn something by going "when this it means that", it becomes closer to a memory game.

The typical lesson is comprised of:
- learning of a topic.
- then doing a few questions to see what was understood.
- then picking out questions that are tailored to your weaknesses shown by the prior questions.
- analysis of working to see what went through your head and what you could've changed to reach the answer.
the reason the weaknesses are focus on for maths in specific more than other subjects is due to how maths needs topics to understand other topics,
for example: you will have a lot of trouble with quadratics if you don't understand how to expand brackets and collect terms prior, making gaps dangerous.
A lesson is typically 1 hour per topic. for GCSE or A level.
Of course this can differ if we're going through an exam/mock instead.
The topics taught will try be kept in order with what you are learning in school/sixth form.
