About Sophie
During my gymnasium training I started tutoring 2 high school students, one of whom is studying at Havo level and one at VWO level. I also do this now, during my university education, with great pleasure! In addition, I taught a primary school student and also a student of the secondary vocational education (now HBO) whom I still occasionally tutor.

I have always been described by others as a patient person who is good at dealing with people. With my helpful nature combined with my enthusiasm for learning, I already have a number of great experiences in tutoring. I am often told that during tutoring I look further than just the material, such as finding out where a certain learning problem may be. During my secondary education I figured out what was the best learning path for me. Since I am still quite close to my high school career, I see this as something that can have a positive effect. I would like to start by looking at someone's approach to the material; what about the planning and structure of a student? From there we will discuss the material together. I am also a big fan of practice, practice and practice. I really enjoy helping people learn to learn and then see them grow in one (or more) subject (s)!
