Hello! My name is Ellie, and I am a native Filipino speaker who is passionate about helping students learn Tagalog in a clear, enjoyable, and effective way. I like to use simple explanations, repetition, guided speaking practice, and everyday examples so students can immediately apply what they learn. I also include reading and writing activities when needed, especially for learners who want a deeper understanding of grammar and sentence structure.
A typical lesson usually starts with a short review of the previous topic, followed by introducing new vocabulary, expressions, or grammar points. After that, we practice through examples, question-and-answer activities, role-play, and speaking exercises. I also give students opportunities to form their own sentences and use Tagalog in natural situations such as greetings, self-introduction, daily routines, shopping, travel, or casual conversations.
