About Bethany
I am passionate about the Arabic language and Levantine culture. I lived in Jordan during my year abroad and I stayed with a host family which naturally enhanced my language skills and knowledge of the region.
Since graduating, I regularly spend time in Jordan and visit other Arabic speaking countries and maintain my skills through daily practice.
It would be my dream to pass on my passion for the Arabic language to my students and help them to develop confidence!

Why choose a non native speaker to teach you? Because I’ve been in your exact position and now I get mistaken for a native.
My lessons will focus on the Levantine dialect of Arabic, a dialect which is well known and understood throughout the Arabic speaking world; it is very close to MSA.
We can focus on:
Real conversation practice
Listening
Reading
Writing
The culture of the region
My style is flexible and I can tailor to your needs!
