Lisa is my Xhosa tutor, and so far our lessons have been great! She has been patient with me, and she really moves at a pace that suits each of her students. Learning a language that has a lot of clicks, I thought it was going to be hard, but to my surprise, I'm actually enjoying this journey.

Lisa is a fluent native speaker with a strong grasp of both everyday conversation and formal isiXhosa. While she’s new to formal lecturing, I’ve seen her teach informally and she has a real gift for it. She’s patient, breaks down tricky grammar into simple steps, and makes beginners feel comfortable speaking right away. Lisa is passionate about sharing isiXhosa language and culture, so her lessons go beyond vocab and feel practical for real life. She’s reliable, encouraging, and brings fresh energy to each session.
