About Raphaël
Hi! I’m Raphaël, a native French speaker currently studying Business at the Australian National University (ANU) as an exchange student. Having grown up in France, I speak fluent French and enjoy helping others learn the language in a relaxed and supportive environment.
I believe that learning a language should be practical, engaging and adapted to each student. Whether you’re preparing for a trip, improving your conversational skills, studying for school or simply learning for fun, I’ll create lessons that match your goals and help you gain confidence from day one.
I’m patient, organized and committed to helping every student progress at their own pace. My aim is to make each lesson enjoyable while building real communication skills in French.

As a native French speaker, I adapt every lesson to the student’s level, goals and learning style. Before we start, I take a few minutes to understand their needs, whether they want to improve conversation, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary or prepare for an exam.
My lessons usually last 60 minutes and are structured in two parts. First, we work on a specific topic through clear explanations and practical examples. Then, we reinforce what has been learned with interactive activities, conversations or games (especially for younger students), making the lesson enjoyable and engaging.
I have experience helping both children and adults learn French, and I believe that confidence is the key to making progress. My teaching style is patient, supportive and interactive, encouraging students to speak from the very first lesson.
My lessons are suitable for beginners to intermediate learners, children, teenagers, university students and adults who want to improve their French for travel, work, studies or everyday conversations. Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to become more fluent, I’ll tailor each lesson to help you reach your goals.
