About Rachna
Hi! I'm a high school student in Aotearoa who genuinely enjoys math and loves helping others learn. I've always had a strong interest in mathematics and understand that everyone learns at their own pace.
My goal is to make math less stressful and more enjoyable by explaining concepts in a clear, patient, and supportive way. Whether your child needs help building confidence, catching up in class, or getting ahead, I'm here to help.
I tutor students from primary school up to Year 7, and I tailor each lesson to the student's individual needs and learning style. I believe that with the right guidance and encouragement, every student can succeed in math.

I tailor every lesson to the student's learning style, focusing on building confidence through clear explanations and step-by-step problem solving. I use real-life examples, interactive questions, and exam-style practice to reinforce understanding. My goal is not only to help students solve problems but also to develop the critical thinking skills needed to work independently.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, with the option of 90-minute sessions for students preparing for exams or needing extra support. Each lesson includes concept review, guided practice, and time for questions.
I have a strong background in mathematics and experience helping students improve their understanding, confidence, and academic performance. I specialize in breaking down difficult concepts into simple, easy-to-follow steps and creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
