Hi, I’m John. I’m 20 years old and a junior in college majoring in Computer Science with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I’ve been coding since 6th grade, starting with Scratch, where I first discovered my passion for programming. As a tutor, I take a personal and student-focused approach, ensuring lessons are tailored to your learning style and goals. Since I’m still a student myself, I understand the challenges of learning new material and aim to make my sessions affordable and accessible. I’m open to teaching mathematics up to and including Precalculus, as well as computer science topics ranging from beginner programming to university-level courses such as Concepts of Computer Science II and Web Programming. Whether you’re looking to strengthen fundamentals or tackle more advanced topics, I’m here to guide you step-by-step toward success.

Hi, I'm John, a junior college student majoring in computer science with a concentration in AI/ML. My tutoring approach is patient, flexible, and tailored to each student’s learning style. I focus on helping students truly understand the why behind concepts, not just memorizing steps. A typical lesson includes a quick review of past material, working through examples together, and giving the student a chance to solve problems with my support. I like using real-world analogies—especially in programming and math—to make abstract ideas stick. What sets me apart is that I remember what it’s like to struggle with a new concept. I’m not here to lecture—I’m here to support and grow your confidence. My lessons are best for high school students learning: Algebra I & II Geometry Precalculus or Intro Calculus Introductory programming (Python, Java, etc.) If you’re a beginner in coding or math and want affordable help from someone who’s been in your shoes recently, I’d love to work with you.
