About Kaeden
I am a junior undergraduate at Duke University, studying cell and molecular biology. I have received A's in all of my courses, including general chemistry, two semesters of organic chemistry, biochemistry, and many biology classes. I also have two years of experience conducting research and planning and analyzing experiments, so I can help students learn how to apply the scientific concepts to solve problems. My approach to challenging courses is to learn the "why" behind what a professor teaches, as this allows for a more complete understanding of the topic that can be applied to new scenarios more easily than simply memorizing random facts. I additionally like to build lists of "tips" before tests that are based on mistakes that I have made in practice problems to ensure that I never make the same mistake twice. I can introduce students to these strategies to help make science a more fascinating subject instead of a collection of tedious and random facts.
