About Jean

I am a passionate French–English bilingual and a student at Black Hawk College with experience teaching French at the Multicultural Entrepreneurial Center. My goal is to make French approachable and enjoyable while helping students succeed. I am patient, reliable, and dedicated to creating a positive learning experience for every student. You can feel confident that I will guide you step by step, adapt to your learning style, and encourage you to reach your goals.

About the lesson

My approach is interactive and student-centered. I use clear explanations, real-life examples, and conversation practice to make French simple and practical. A typical lesson begins with a short review, followed by focused grammar or vocabulary exercises, and ends with speaking practice.

What sets me apart is my experience volunteering as a French teacher at the Multicultural Entrepreneurial Center at Black Hawk College and my passion for helping others, inspired by mentors like Jean, who encouraged me to teach confidently.

My lessons are perfect for beginners, students needing homework support, or professionals wanting to improve their communication skills. Each session is tailored to your goals, whether you want casual conversation practice or structured learning.
