About Anna

Hello! I am an English tutor from Riga, and I would be happy to help you or your child feel more confident in English.

I have studied English for 12 years, first at school and now at an international university, where all of my studies are in English. My English level is B2, certified by IELTS. I have also taught English to my younger sisters and my parents, so I know how to explain things clearly and patiently to learners of different ages.

What you can expect from me:

Friendly, well-prepared lessons that suit your level and goals
Clear explanations of grammar and vocabulary, with plenty of speaking practice
Regular, encouraging feedback so you can see your progress
Reliable, punctual and respectful communication

I understand that learning a language can feel stressful, so my priority is a calm and supportive atmosphere where mistakes are a normal part of learning.

Please send me a message to arrange a lesson. I look forward to meeting you!

About the lesson

My Approach to Tutoring

My lessons are relaxed, friendly, and patient, with plenty of speaking practice, so students stop worrying about mistakes and start enjoying English.

Methods: Every lesson includes conversation. I explain grammar in simple words, then we practise it straight away. New vocabulary is learned through short texts, games and everyday topics. I can also help with school homework and adapt each lesson to the student's level and goals.

Lesson length: 60 minutes (45 minutes for younger children).

Experience: I have studied English for 12 years and now study at an international university in English, with an IELTS B2 level. I have taught English to my younger sisters and my parents, so I know how to explain things clearly to learners of different ages.

My lessons are for: children and teenagers who need help with school English, beginners up to B1 level, and adults who want to practise speaking.
