About Karim
I studied Maths, Biology and Chemistry at A-level, achieving AAA, before studying Biomedical Engineering at UCL and completing my MSc at Imperial College London. At GCSE, I achieved grade 9s in Maths, Biology and Chemistry, as well as an 8 in Further Maths. I was also tutored when I was younger, and found that practising lots of past-paper questions really helped me understand the methodology behind different question types. However, tutoring could sometimes feel a little boring! That’s why I want to make my lessons more interactive and enjoyable, while giving students the same confidence and exam technique that tutoring gave me.

I aim to make Biology and Maths enjoyable and engaging by making lessons interactive and, where possible, gamifying learning. We’ll identify the topics and past-paper questions you find most difficult and work through them together. We’ll practise plenty of exam-style questions covering the syllabus, focusing on understanding why an answer is correct rather than simply memorising it. As you improve, we’ll keep revisiting weaker areas until you feel confident tackling them independently.
