About Emilia
Heya! My name's Emilia, I am from New Zealand, and am studying Aeronautical Engineering at Imperial College London, going into 2nd year in October 2023. I do Ironman Triathlon and love sport and being outdoors :) I like making rockets and have national records in model rocketry in New Zealand! I am part of the uni rocketry club, and we're currently working on becoming the first university to launch a reusable rocket! I studied HL Maths, Physics and Chemistry (777) for IB and received 44/45 points overall. I did my GCSEs in 2019 and received nine 9s (A**s) and one 8. I got top in school as a result and was an academic scholar for 5 years.

Having taught myself for my final year of GCSEs (year 11) due to moving overseas, I have devised an effective study method for success. This primarily revolves around utilising past papers and notes made by students, as well as my library of personal notes from my own GCSEs in 2019. I have 4 years of experience tutoring, and having been tutored myself, I believe I have a unique teaching angle that brings out the most in students' natural abilities. We will focus on what revision techniques work best for the student and also implement other techniques they have not yet tried.
