About Jake
I’m really passionate about helping students reach their individual potential. I love my subjects and course and I want to develop that love in everyone I teach. Passing exams is important and opens up future opportunities but that should never be instead of enjoying learning. By making lessons engaging and presenting my students with novel challenges I can support not only the love of the subject but also the exemplary exam performance it causes.

I study Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London (ranked 2nd at the QS World Rankings). To help me get here my teachers made sure I had knowledge that went outside the wider specification. I aim to recreate this with each student, finding the parts of the course that most interest them and develop a deeper understanding. This supports overall exam performance by making learning more enjoyable, encouraging individual study.
