About Sohan
I’ve always had a deep love for STEM, particularly exploring the beauty behind mathematical patterns and computational logic. For me, these subjects aren’t just about getting the right answer, they are about understanding why things work and building strong intuition. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas into simpler concepts and helping others develop the same appreciation for these subjects. I am an experienced online tutor currently studying Computer Science at Imperial College London. I achieved 12 Grade 9s at GCSE (top 0.1% nationally) and 43/45 IB points (equivalent to 4 A*s). I also ranked in the top 10% nationally for the TMUA and top 15% for the MAT, alongside first-hand experience of the Oxford interview process.
My lessons are built around complex problem-solving, not rote learning. I focus on developing deep conceptual understanding so students can tackle unseen questions with confidence. Each session is tailored to the individual, identifying gaps and targeting the hardest material first. Students leave not just knowing the answer, but understanding why.
